چکیده
BackgroundWe evaluated the long-term outcomes of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) according to β-blocker therapy using landmark analysis. Although β-blockers have been shown improve for ischemic heart disease, effects and optimal treatment duration use after CABG remain unknown.MethodsFrom January 2001 December 2014, 5382 patients were stratified into 2 groups at discharge (β-blocker group: 3677 [68.3%], no 1705 [31.7%]).ResultsThe primary outcome was all-cause death during 48 months follow-up. Using propensity score-matched analysis, associated with 48-month follow-up (hazard ratio [HR], 0.62; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.41-0.95; P = .03). The analysis demonstrated that effect on particularly significant within first 12 (HR, 0.37; CI, 0.19-0.80; .01) but not 0.92; 0.56-1.53; .77).ConclusionsThe benefits postdischarge may be limited 1 year CABG, further studies are required confirm this finding. We unknown. From [31.7%]). .77).

متن کاملConsequences of coronary artery bypass grafting in smokers and addicts
Introduction: The most common cardiac disease is coronary artery disease (CAD) in the world. Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is implemented through two standard surgical techniques, namely off-pump beating-heart CABG (OPCABG) and on-pump CABG (ONCABG). The CABG results in various levels of morbidity, especially in smokers and addicts, who have a lower pain threshold. Regarding this, the ...

Abstract Introduction: A fall is a sudden descent on the ground or other lower levels. It is a serious safety threat for hospitalized patients. Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery as an open heart surgery has complications such as cardiac arrhythmias and delirium that can increase the risk of fall. Objective: This study aims to determine the risk of falls in patients after CABG surger...

Abstract Background: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is common in cardiovascular disease (CVD) and indicates a complication of coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG). This study was designed to evaluate the status of erectile dysfunction in patients with CAD before and after CABG surgery. Methods: We designed a prospective cohort study on male patients candidates for elective on-pump CABG...
